Movies day! :D

I got Monday off so that I could unwind a bit and just relax after the Montreal trip... We ended up watching 4 movies in 24 hours :)

Megaminds <-- third time rewatching it... LOVE IT :)
Pirates of the Caribbeans: On Stranger Tides <-- I enjoy it for it's action, but I hate being left clueless, about everything, for the entire duration, including the ending...
Kung Fu Panda 2 <-- love the shao lin soccer reference :) It was kid humour
Kick Ass <-- funny but NOT appropriate for kids

By making time for myself yesterday I realized I could accomplish a lot of things I keep puttting off....

I managed to take a nap, play some angry bird, clean out some more garbage from my drawers, watch two movies (My Left Eye Sees Ghost '我左眼見到鬼' and How to lose a guy in 10 days) such awesome movies I keep re-watching :) , remove my leftover nail polish from my hand and my toe nails, repaint my toes, almost finish making stars for my brush holder and finally I had a snack with my grandparents around 11 last night ^_^

Making the straw stars really hurt my fingers, but it is all worth it cuz it look soooooo pretty ^_^

The Forgotten

I'm not sure if I am re-watching "The Forgotten" or not... It's been on the shelf for a while now and I thought that I had watched it before... but it doesn't seem familiar... Aiya.. is this another sign that my mind is going :|

Memory is such a fragile thing....

Movies/Drama weekend~

This weekend was pretty chilling... We watched a few movies (Oscar and A Christmas Carol...) But most notably.... Em and I watched a TVB drama together, Beyond the Realm of Conscience .

Lovely weekend~~

We're super spoiled this summer! Having such gorgeous weather in Toronto! The past week, our temperature has been higher than Hawaii and even Mumbai!!! Crazi nice! :D

This weekend was soooooo jammed pack! I loved it!

Friday evening was mostly spent with Em, but we picked up my aunt at the airport after a coffee at Starbucks... It was a long night of chatting with everyone, but so fun :)

Sat, Auntie and I went shopping for a bit before I dropped her off at the hair salon, then Em and I went back to RH and had lunch with Em's cous, Katrina (not sure how it's spelt.) Lovely girl who lives in Switzerland... we chatted and had a long lunch, then went home and looked at her beautiful wedding album! The pictures were all soo nice, she was beautiful! :D Afterwards we went shopping with her, looking for things for her in-laws and her husband, found this amazing skateboard (sadly no pictures). The evening ended off with Em and Mel and I shopping at Shopper's for 1+ hours... There were just too many things I wanted to get! XD

Sunday was not laid back either! We woke up at 9am, to have dim sum (which upsets my stomach.) Got back to em's place to get ready for 1) his interview, 2) burn some cds for his sis, 3) pack for the weekend and 4) feed the kids~! What a rush! We went to Pmall to check on unlocking the N97, sad sad news! anyway maybe i can change to the white one... its prettier anyways! Then we went by the book store to get a book for my mom, then we head to Dixie outlet for some shoe shopping (for my cousin) and get some yummylicious Polish sauce (covered with sliced green olives and bacon bits, hmm!!) Afterwards, we went to lakeshore in search for a nice walk with refreshment (ie popsicles) To my disappointment, we went to 3 different stores on lakeshore and did not find the much craved rockets =( Admitting defeat I bought a lemonade from the convenience store and got to the water park... driving into the parking lot we found THE ice cream truck... They had rockets... and I was HAPPI :D The evening had ended off with pizza + bbt for dinner and "Prince of Persia" as a finale.... Great way to end the weekend =)

Wknd Oct 23-25

Setting: Gloomy looking day at work....
Mood: feeling bleh (like most mondays at work)
Thought: I really need to stop shopping!

Friday night I didn't end up going out or anything. Just went and got the satelite receiver and set it up with Bell. Em didn't get to Mississauga until 9pm. By then he was sooooo tired... So we just cuddled and stayed home for the night...

Sat we watched the movie 'Sex Drive' and then went shopping with Mom at Dixie Outlet Mall... it was packed! I have never gone shopping there but there is some really good deals especially at Guess! I have never spent less than 100$ there and gotten 6 piece of cloths! what a bargain~ worked out to be 10$ each~ :D sooo happi~ Also found out that there's this meat and cheese place there... must try it out next time cuz it smelled amazing! If only they have them at Sq1! Afterwards went home for dinner before heading out to Aunties place so Em can help her setup her camera to update to the earliest version. We then proceed to Shoppers where I purchased my first 19$ aqua eyeliner! crazi expensive, but as proven on Sunday, well worth it... the color was beautiful!

What's in my makeup bag: sample mascara and makeup remover from Lancome, Clinique's concealing stick, Sephora lip gloss, compact mirror, crystal nail file, oil-removing paper and my new Make Up for Ever aqua eyeliner!! :D

After an hour of shopping at Shoppers we zoomed our way to AMC to watch Cirque du Freaks: The Vampire's Assistant. I thought it was going to be more comical, but it is sooo dark and it seems to be more geared towards younger adults... bleh~ 25 isn't young anymore! T^T The night ended off with us having pho on Dundas before going back to RH.

Sunday was the National Women's Show. It was sooo fun! :D did a lot of sampling, and shopping. Em and his mom and sis and I was just walking for hours non stop! there was so much stuff to eat and try and buy. It was different and I liked it :D However when we got home Em and I passed out shortly after watching the newest Family Guy (side note: this ep was totally untasteful~ bleh~ I didn't get the jokes at all...) We went for dinner after and the rest of the night was uneventful~
