Our usual destination for "the" Tuesday meet is Oasis in Mississauga... But yesterday we decided to toss it up a bit and went uptown to try out Destiny on Highway 7 + East Beaver Creek in Markham... Big mistake!
1. The seats were extremely uncomfortable, with everyone sinking right into the seats... The pillows were hardly helpful... Some people who are tall couldn't even see the top of their drinks, not because it was a big drink but because we were like kids sitting at the adults table...
2. There were lipstick marks on the glass..
3. Service was slow (although it was busy there... we couldn't imagine why...)
4. it was 30 minutes after we were seated that a waiter decided to come take our order...
5. Byron (the tallest guy at the place) was unsuccessful to get the waiter's attention.... Are these people blind or do they just not want businses?
Anyways... I really prefer our usual place... even though there is a smaller variety of drinks, at least we get comfortable chairs, clean glasses and good service... it is also much closer to home :)
We played Carcasonne yesterday and Ronnie beat everyone by at least 10 points! Good job!! :) Can't wait for next week!! Will be needing it since it will be a full week at work again... ugh!!
Side note: Ronnie got me some pretty NYX cupcake gloss... they were SOOO cute!!! smaller than I expected, but they smell lovely (kinda very similar in scent) I want to use them bute like Ronnie, I dont have the heart to use them yet! they look tooo precious!
