Need new object of obsession...

Have you ever been obsessed about something and then suddenly one day you lose all interest? I've had my iPod touch since last November and until recently have been something I can spend hours with... now... I only use it to play music at work and to play Angry Birds when they have their updates (which is getting less frequent now...) *sigh* I think I need something new to play with... Makeup is definitely not an option all the time... so any suggestions? I've joined DeviantArt and Makeuptalk... but still.. they don't hold my interest for quite that long... meh~~ okies... enuf... Drying up at work...

It seems counter-intuitive to have the heater on during the summer times... But when the office temperature is set to 23 degree Celsius it's obvious why. I can't seem to understand how such cold temperature is comfortable. It literally feels like I'm sitting in a fridge... On top of freezing, my contacts are becoming uncomfortable because of the lack of moisture in the air... Having trouble staying hydrated!!

Thanks goodness it is Tuesday, at least I got my weekly meet to look forward to tonight! I wonder what games we'll be playing tonight :)

Month-niversary: Aug 15, 2011

We originally wanted to get the Slow Roast Prime Rib which we both LOVED, but they had a big party and everyone ordered it... Em was tempted to wait 1.5 hours for it however my stomach couldn't wait (it was 8 something by then) so... the manager gave us a complimentary dessert. Unfortunately I don't know where the picture went :| just imagine a delicious chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream! :)

Rollercoaster ride Saturday~

Aww... so our original plan to hit the beach fell through on Saturday and we decided to go to shooting range and shopping instead... But the morning started a bit.. off.. our car was hit by some idiot driver who wouldn't let us merge into the lane even though our car was already in front of him... we thought he only hit our side mirror but found out there was more damage to the body later T^T should have gotten that guy's plate! Anyways... that's how our morning started... but the rest of the day went by okay (just with lots of stupido drivers...)

We decided to go shooting first... and here's is the gun that we shot!

Next we went shopping at Waldon Galleria... the only thing we got was... liquid nitrogen ice cream... It was mouth watering vanilla + Oreo goodness!!! I know I was to stay away from dairy products but these were just irresistible...

From there we also got these poker chips for Fallsview Casino that qualifies each of us for food at the casino or credit to play at the slot... There was a huge misunderstanding with the restaurants in the casino... so long story short we went elsewhere to eat, got some credits for the slot machine and won 100$ each =) also... as a bonus we got free parking :)

Did you know that....

Dairy can cause acne.

I discovered this little fact only recently... It came as a bit of a shock at the beginning, but then it kind of made sense...  I indulge in cups of milktea at work everyday, I take my coffee with lots of cream and I love milk chocolate and icecream sandwiches... These are just a few things that whenever I had in excess gives me mild to moderate acne problems... of course, I know that excess sugar, lack of sleep, stress and oily food can be a cause too... but when those are kept constant and the only change was the dairy intake, it's hard to not think that milk is the main culprit behind my issue...

So... with this new bit of information, I've been replaced my daily milktea with green tea (or ginseng tea) the past week (with 2 slips...) and I find that my skin is slowly but surely clearing up. There is less redness on my cheeks and fewer new pimples or whiteheads... Let's hope I can keep this up!!
