Pets :D

Some cuties at home!

Don Don sooo tired after a whole day of walking at Woofstock!

First time for me, first time for Hilton!

I went to Woofstock for the first time with Em's family. Quite an interesting experience :) Saw lots of dogs that were sooo cute and awesome... Many of the bigger dogs were so timid and like Hilton had their tails between their legs... But most if not all of the miniature and toy dogs were outgoing and just loving the attention people were giving them... Strange.. I always thought that the bigger the dog the more confident they had!!

Saw my first Irish Wolfhound... OMG they are soooo big!! even bigger than the Great Dane!! and soo cute!! Due to curiosity, I looked them up to find that they are wolf hunting dogs and were used in wars!! Would never have guessed since they have such a goofy face!!

Also some cuties that we saw were pomeranians, pugs, Greyhounds, Chow Chows, Alaskan Malamute, American Husky, Collies, golden retrievers, chihuahua, poodle, Afghan hound, Basset hound, dachshund, beagle (puppy), yorkshire terrier, boston terrier, bulldog, schnauzer, german sherpard, and two dogs that I really want.... the Shiba Inu and the Italian Greyhound... OMG SUCH CUTIES!!!!!! i vant them alll!!!!!!

Here are some picture I took... Enjoy :)

ipod touch~~ a new obsession!

I'm going to be honest, I do not like hardcore Apple fans... which in turn made me dislike Apple. I was one of those people who did not understand the hype.

But...

I got a my ipod touch this weekend.... and I am obsessed with their apps... Currently... I'm addicted to Pocket Frogs :)

They're Coming to Take Me Away, Ha-Haaa

They're Coming to Take Me Away, Ha-Haaa

from: Dr. Demento's Delights
Warner Bros. 1975 BS 2855 0698

Remember when you ran away and I got on my knees and begged you not to
leave because I'd go berserk?? Well...
You left me anyhow and then the days got worse and worse and now you see
I've gone completely out of my mind.. And..

They're coming to take me away, ha-haaa!!
They're coming to take me away, ho-ho, hee-hee, ha-haaa
To the funny farm. Where life is beautiful all the time and I'll be
happy to see those nice young men in their clean white coats and they're
coming to take me away, ha-haaa!!!!!

You thought it was a joke and so you laughed, you laughed when I had said
that losing you would make me flip my lid.. RIGHT???
I know you laughed, I heard you laugh, you laughed you laughed and
laughed and then you left, but now you know I'm utterly mad... And..

They're coming to take me away, ha-haaa,
They're coming to take me away, ho-ho, hee-hee, ha-haaa.
To the happy home. With trees and flowers and chirping birds and basket
weavers who sit and smile and twiddle their thumbs and toes and they're
coming to take me away, ha-haaa!!!

I cooked your food, I cleaned your house, and this is how you pay me back
for all my kind unselfish loving deeds.. Huh??
Well you just wait, they'll find you yet and when they do they'll put you
in the ASPCA, you mangy mutt!!! And...

They're coming to take me away, ha-haaa.
They're coming to take me away, ho-ho, hee-hee, ha-haaa.
To the funny farm, where life is beautiful all the time and I'll be happy
to see those nice young men in their clean white coats and they're coming
to take me away, ha-haaa!!!
To the happy home, with trees and flowers and chirping birds and basket
weavers who sit and smile and twiddle their thumbs and toes and they're
coming to take me away, ha-haa!!!
To the funny farm, where life is beautiful all the time... (fade out)

Hey, buddy!
Yes officer..
You a head?
No, but I'm catching up, ha ha ha....

My Halloween Look for 2010 - Tim Burton's Corpse Bride: Emily

My interpretation of Tim Burton's Corpse Bride

First off, I just want to say that this costume was totally spontaneous. We were at Winner's when it was decided that I'm no longer doing the Grudge Lady and switching off to the corpse's bride. My friend YY was the one who spotted this kid's size 12 gown and I was convinced to try it... and it fits! It is a beautiful white dress with a very puffy bottom, but it is about 6 inches too short... (at least I'm taller than a 12 year old!!)

Next, we proceed to working on my head piece, since Emily has blue hair, I decided to find a wig... upon searching online I realized that the online stores are all out of stock for a decent priced blue wig.... BOOH!!! I would have gone with my natural black hair.... if I didn't find the 'Candy Girl' wig at Spirit Halloween the day after!! (I think it would have worked... right??)

To complete the bride look, I used some mini clips (in place of a tiara) and a squared neck scarf to make the veil... It worked :)

To create the bony arm on Emily I cut up some paper bones and taped it onto my black shirt and connected the shirt to the skeleton glove I had with a black hairtie. Because Emily had a pair of ripped white long gloves on her, I was able to cover up the part where the two meet with it. It was perfect! I also noticed that she had loose blue skin on her right ankle so I decided to put on a pair of blue socks to imitate it... :)

The final piece that I had worked on was the bouquet, although I know that her bouquet was not blue and purple... but it was the only ribbons I had avaiable to me at 10pm that night... so it will have to do... I made the 5 roses and taped it to a small pen I had and wrapped it with the green tape... The bride now has her bouquet, and it ready to chase her groom.... mukakakkakaka :D

Oh... and the makeup took 2 hours to apply the next day... :D I got this white cream makeup from the dollar store to create the white canvas.... although next time I do this, I will know the let it dry completely before applying makeup :)

Lastly, if you want to do this makeup check out audfaced on Youtube. I got the instructions from her video :)
