Monster Jam at Rogers Centre

One of our friend won tickets to see Monsters Jam at Rogers Centre a couple of weekends ago and we were the lucky people who was invited to go! I wasn't sure what to expect, I only knew that there will be big cars and I expected lots of screaming. What I didn't realize was how loud the cars were and how many kids were there! The two kids behind us were little monsters themselves, with all the screeching and seat kicking that I've patiently endured the first half of the race. I've even ask his father to control this kid, and it came to us moving away from them before they spilled popcorn all over our chairs (which happened shortly after our move.) I'm seriously reconsidering having kids... -__- anyhow... enough ranting and moving onto some pictures of the cool cars :)

Wrecking Crew was my favourite car, mainly because I kept calling it Wreck-It-Ralph :)

I believe the driver of Northern Nightmare is Canadian, he did us proud :)

Overall, it was a different kind of experience, the show actually got better when they were doing freestyle, aka, showing off their cars and doing crazy jumps~ Would I pay to go again? Only if my baby cousins are interested :)

Yorkville Exotic Car Show June 19, 2011

This was a great way to celebrate Father's day. We went with Em's family to check out 100+ gorgeous exotic cars displayed on red carpet Bloor street in Yorkville... The weather was perfect! Here are some of my best shots (and they still suck... i know!) Anyways, enjoy! Be warned, there's a lot of pictures!

My first F1 experience...

We were so excited to watch the race only to be disappointed.. We didn't realize that for 80$ general admission fee you only get to hear the cars... In any case... It was still an enjoyable experience until the rain started pouring down... haha.. I think it would have been better if we each had a beer, it would have been more chilling! In the end the race was temporarily stopped due to the heavy rainfall (which lasted 2 hours)... All in all, I think I prefer watching the race in the comfort of my own home or at a bar... Less wet, and more action... Though the sound of the engine was amazing :)

Month of June... PACKED!!

This month seems to be the month that everything is happening... so far I have 3 weekends packed with activities... The Canadian Grand Prix festival followed by Camping and finally back for the Annual Jazz Festival :D packed packed packed!! Not to mention that the first week of June is packed with warehouse sales... Yesterday I went to the International Centre for 3 sales, and tomorrow I'm going to the MAC warehouse sale! I'm on a highhhhhhhh....

First time watching a car race LIVE!!!

We watched 2 (almost 3) races at the Mosport International Racetrack for the first time ever!

It was so exciting, with lots of beautiful cars and heart-pounding race! Here's some pictures of beauuuuutiful Vipers, Porsche and Corvettes! There were more cars but I can't upload them all so I chose to share this variety of cars. =) Enjoy!!

Update: just recently found out I'm going to the F1 race in Montreal in June!~~ boooyah!!
