Pretty in Pink :)

Em told me the day before he had a surprise for me... I didn't know what it was until he revealed it and gave me my early bday gift :) 

a pretti pink camera! :D Now I have something to take better quality picture and... it matches my phone too XD awesome awesome! :D

Popeyes + Stephen Chow + BBT

Simple things can bring MUCH joy :)

I have to say that watching Stephen Chow's old movies, eating Popeyes' chicken and sharing a bottle of Gingerale with baby was my perfect moment :) 

To make this evening even better after we finished the movie we rushed to BBT to meet up with James, Alan and Will :) Fun times... tho I have to admit, there was too much testosterone (we talked about guns, porn and gorey stuff) 

I missed Ronnie... Well!! looking forward to next week!!

A date @ Milestone :)

For our 21st month together... eM took us out to Milestone for a 'date' night! It was not quite as interesting as that of Steve Carrell and Tina Fey, but at least we were able to finish our mushrooms XD

I tried the Milestone Ultimate Bellini for the first time... and it was SOOOO good!!! It even had Donkey on it(Donkey tried to bite eM's humongoid finger... FAIL) haha.... he tried the Raspberry Mojito... it was a bit sour for me, but it was still good :)

The artichoke + spinach dip was also pretty good too... (Please note... this is the first time Em and I ordered food and did not over order.. so we finished everything!! and was stuffed )

For entrée, I had my medium rare top sirloin (with a side of yummilicious mushrooms XD) and he had the chicken spring salad.. Both were delicious! I was surprised at how juicy the chicken was for the salad. I don't think I enjoy the cut as much, because it is not as tender as the prime rib or ribeye that I usually prefer... Albeit it was still very tasty, and having it cooked at 'almost medium rare' was a good thing :)

We finished off with.. (drum roll) The Cookie! OMG it was SOOO good, because the cookie was warm and mixed with the vanilla gelato (I think...) it was a very good mix! I'm normally not a big chocolate fan, because I find it too sweet, but i think the fact that it felt like 'freshly' baked cookie made a difference! This had definately made the dinner that much more memorable...

of course.... it all depends on who you share it with ;)

BBT, birthday cake for grandma and Medieval Times!

Happy Birthday Grandma! This is the first time in years since we got to celebrate my grandma's birthday! Big feast! lots of yummy food and Em got grandma a mango mousse :D So good! :D

I love going to Oasis... and we meet up with some wonderful people (Cat and Sahan) for some snacks. I've been craving for bbt, although next time I think I will stick to the honeydew... or just plain grape black tea... no tapioca or litchi jelly for me! Em got a little wierd... hehe....

For our 11th month Em took me to Medieval Times! Omg... it was an unforgettable experience! Our blue raspberry loaded with 1/4 vodka started our night. We had soup and bread (yum yums)... Another cool thing we noted was the fact that the menu was printed on the napkins... we bought some wetnaps just in case they don't provide them... I had no idea I was going to be served 1/2 a chicken! Apperantly I wasn't Canadian enough, cuz the 10 year old kid beside me finished it and the rest of his meal! Gosh! If I only knew I'd trained the day before and stuff myself silly so my tummy would be expanded~ LoLs... the ribs was also excellent. I want to go back again :D Maybe when Alex and Bonnie are over for the week we'll take them there! ^_^ Evil cousin with her own agenda! lols... We were cheering for our Yellow Knight, who happened to be Em's old jits buddy from grade 9! small world~ :D The week ended off with us just bumming around the house... Good way to unwind... just wish there ws MORE time...

I'm back!!! this posting is about 6+ months late, but it is better late than never, right?

Setting: at work, just found that I lost a button~ (hopefully no one will notice)
Mood: starving, usually when I have breakfast I'm super hungry for lunch~

Quick update about everything in the past... year? (not gonna update the past 5 years cuz I can't remember that far back... typical...)

Was on a two month vacation in China, lots of pictures and shopping done (a few mosquito bites as well... they were so poisonous!) Ooohh and I got my first LV bag ^^ well my mommy got it for me as a cheering up gift but... its minez! ^__________^ women~~ and our love for bags! buhaahhaa....

I'm finally done uni!! Officially graduated and had my convocation on November 11th 2008. I was soo happy to be finally done that I was in tears~ Daddy was sooo proud of me ^^

When I came back the whole world was in recession... I thought I'd never find a job... But then I started talking to Janet again, and I started working at Rainbow Jade in Erin Mills, that lasted about 3 months before I found my current full-time. On March 6th, 2009 I started my first full time job as a bilingual receptionist/administrative assistant. :) Long title for a small part. But I didn't think its too bad. There are some nice ppl here and the workload is manageable. I am happy to have stability.

I seem to have left out the most important change this past year... But no of course not~ He consumes my day and night. And if I allow it I will be talking about him all the time. Somewhere and somehow in the month of December 2008 I found Emmery. We've been happily in love since. :)
