Time for change

Every so often, people need time for themselves. I had one of those rare occasions yesterday evening. After getting home and changing out of my office attire, I went to shovel the snow in the driveway alone. I had a lot of time to think about things, and I'm not quite sure if it was because the cold made me more alert or if the action of the snow shovelling cause the increase of blood flow to my brain... in any case my thoughts were crystal clear. I was thinking about certain aspects of my life when I reached an "epiphany"!! (LoLs to the word in the UCLA girl vid!) I know the saying that "Good things will come to those who wait" unfortunately, I'm not a patient person so I let my impulses dictate my actions and everything I say (rarely thought through or filtered). Because of this, I realize that I cause many of the problems in my relationships and friendships. I feel responsible for everything that has gone awry. I am the reason for the failure of all my relationships with men, failure to keep close friends, in general failure to have any girl friends. I feel that my lonely existence is my fault and with all this realization, I am looking forward to change. But I will be doing it my way and at my own pace I just hope people will let me be and extend their patience.

I'm thinking maybe I need to go to a different place and start off fresh, however if I do that, will the relationships I have last?

Snow again!

Ugh... I thought spring was on its way... I was wrong! We got snow last night and some more today... :( And today I was almost late for work since there was an accident on Eglinton! Sigh... We got spoiled by 2 weeks of nice weather and now that it snowed again people have to relearn how to drive :|

March 22nd - World Water Day 2011

To celebrate WWD, we had a company BBQ and pot luck at Ecowater Canada and it was awesome!! We watched the "Water" clip, the VP made a small speech and so did the mkt manager, also everyone was involved because we each had a card that we had to read out loud... my card said "1 in 6 people don't have access to freshwater" whereas some of my coworkers had everything from "how much water is used to make beer" to "diarrhea"... yay!! Anyways, on a happy note there was lots of yummy food like wings, burgers, hot dogs, salads and cupcakes!!! Yummy cupcakes in my tummy... It was sooooo good I had 4 :) [plus 1 more the next day] They were so soft with just the right amount of icing I have to find out where to get them :)

Friendship

A genuinely good friend is one of those people that is HARD to come by. Always remember to cherish your precious ones~

It's been a very entertaining week, seeing friends almost everyday and drank 2 weeknights! :) Good times!

I think I might just have to keep some beer at home, it helps me sleep at night :D Hopefully won't turn me into a raging alcoholic!!

No more indulging for the next 4 weeks!

I'm broke broke... so no more shopping for unnecessary things the next 4 weeks...

I got too much in the past weekend.. and then today something I've been looking forward to since months ago was finally available... bringing me down another 75$... so yeah... no more for the next little while...

On the other hand, I'm an ubber happy shopper :) will have to take pics of the goodies I got :)
