Updates about recent days...
Over the weekend we finally... (drum roll) waxed and put the bindings on my pretty snowboard!! We are SOOOOO ready for the Tremblant trip!
....and also got snow tires put into the corolla, feel so safe~:D ( I don't know where to put this but it's important update soo... I'm sticking this comment right here... )
But... the MOST exciting thing is....
Em and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary! :D I made him dinner (prep the shrimp and smoked salmon salad, and cooked carbonara pasta for him!) Emmery got me a beautiful watch and added a new member to our constantly growing family... Griffin! :D Another penguin in the family... Pengy was not too happi... but he will learn to accept him as he did with Miffy!
Coinciding with our anniversary on the 15th, was the company lunch. Ronnie and I managed to finish baking the cookies and building the gingerbread house just in time for the party... Everyone loved them, and the party room was stunning, people loved it~ I feel like I accomplished so much, the look on people's face was very rewarding. SOOO happi abt it :D

Question that requires an honest answer...
If love comes your way. Would you bravely take it knowing that you might get hurt... or would you cowardly let it pass you by?

Day 2: 1st house completed!
We finally put together our 1st house! Today we decided to use the icing thing we whipped together (actually Ronnie did the whipping... haha) and we put together the house! At first we were worried about the roof because of how much goodies is on itl but the house seems to be able to support it! Althought we did have to do some modification to ensure that the roof is getting support we stuck in between the edges 1 and 1/2 tootsie roll to bring the wall and roof together.
Finalement! C'est fini! pic on the left is before the coconut shreddings and pic on the right is the final project! House #1 completed... we'll be working on the second house next week... and it will have a colour scheme and a different theme :D can't wait!

I'm super excited about the MAC sale! Can't wait :D I wonder what goodies are there!

Day 1: Gingerbread house decor
Work has been pretty interesting lately, between the visit by the 'Big Boss' of my boss and setting up the lunch for CWQA group I've been busy running yet looking my bestest~ not easy when you're in stilettos! If only someone had warn me... Anyways, it was a bunch of fun tho, it looked like a 5-star restaurant setup (if not close enough for 30 min prep..) Soph and I did the center piece of Ferrero Rocher... *delicious* I know cuz I am snacking on them still... heheh...
(so much goodies to decorate our houses!)
After a tiring day at work, I went over to Ronnie's thinking that we'd work on the cookie gifts, but finding out that it needs to be thawed a day before baking.... so we moved onto the gingerbread house.... we did it backwards! We decorated each side of the house and the gingerbread ppl only to find that we were suppose to build the house first and THEN we decorate it... oh well... We'll see tonight if the house can support the roof! :D
(girls hard at work! looking pretti, smiling for the camera... hard work!)
Special thanks to Ronnie's little brother for helping us out! we got some nice sides for the house as well as some beautiful palm trees... don't ask me why for a christmas theme we have them... just... enjoy!~ haha...

Most beautiful and graceful bride!
My frenchie from UTM, Jasmine Shah on her wedding day...
I'm so glad to finally see a picture from that day of us! :D She's sooo shy looking... But if you know Jazz you'd know she's not one bit shy :P
So happy for her and her hubby! XD can't believe almost 6 months has passed since the day... and now you're back in Cincinnati! ZZZZZ....

Updates since last post~ Jasmine's visit and the Sun Family!
It was sooo nice to see Jasmine and Bhavin. Even though sleeping at 2am is kind of late for a weekday it was well worth it. Who knows when Jazz will be able to make a trip back to Sauga next time!
We meet up for dinner at East Side Mario last Thursday and hung out with the couple, their cousins and sister. It was fun and Jazz and I caught up on some things that happened since their wedding (and move to Cincinnati.) Gosh I really missed my French girl. We spoke in French when we wanted to share secrets... it was great~ After dinner we went over to Jaz' place and played Phase 10... I was doing horribly at the beginning (because Em was butt) but at the end I won! buhahahha.... It was a long game, but it was interesting and exciting, so now i'm looking to purchase a set for myself (and once again defeat the evil eM!)
Friday, nothing exciting.
Saturday, my cousins (Alex and Bonnie) and eM and I came to work to decorate. 4 hours... Didn't think that it would take so longs, but some of the lights went out after we put everything up. We had to change each bulb only to find out that they were all good except for one loose wire... what a waste of time... Oh well it was fun times... :D Took the kids to shopping, Laserquest, movies (we watched New Moon... not that great..) and then we went to Medieval Times (the kids, us and Desmond...) I'm still loving the 1/2 chicken, but once again I didn't finish it... oh well~ maybe next time ;)

Maybes...
I hate answers like that... a definite answer would be good... yes or no... simple? it sure make life a lot simpler!
Snowboarding Season!
I am estatic, eagerly anticipating for snowboarding season to commence! Until that moment, I didn't really think that I was going to snowboard... but now it feels real~ Lately people has been scaring me silly warning that it will be difficult and that I'd hurt myself. We also inquired about the butt-pad (em warned me it will hurt a lot when I fall...) I'm not tooo crazy about them tho, they look like fitted grownup diapers... haha... I still have a long way to go to them... I think ^_^
(side) note: I know that it is NOT a guitar...
----------
Note: The rest of my snowboarding gears include the following:
- White Flow bindings
- White Flow Lotus BOA snowboots
- White Snowpants
- White Jacket
- Black Bollé Helmet
- Black gloves...
- Goggles!

BBT, birthday cake for grandma and Medieval Times!
Happy Birthday Grandma! This is the first time in years since we got to celebrate my grandma's birthday! Big feast! lots of yummy food and Em got grandma a mango mousse :D So good! :D
I love going to Oasis... and we meet up with some wonderful people (Cat and Sahan) for some snacks. I've been craving for bbt, although next time I think I will stick to the honeydew... or just plain grape black tea... no tapioca or litchi jelly for me! Em got a little wierd... hehe....
For our 11th month Em took me to Medieval Times! Omg... it was an unforgettable experience! Our blue raspberry loaded with 1/4 vodka started our night. We had soup and bread (yum yums)... Another cool thing we noted was the fact that the menu was printed on the napkins... we bought some wetnaps just in case they don't provide them... I had no idea I was going to be served 1/2 a chicken! Apperantly I wasn't Canadian enough, cuz the 10 year old kid beside me finished it and the rest of his meal! Gosh! If I only knew I'd trained the day before and stuff myself silly so my tummy would be expanded~ LoLs... the ribs was also excellent. I want to go back again :D Maybe when Alex and Bonnie are over for the week we'll take them there! ^_^ Evil cousin with her own agenda! lols... We were cheering for our Yellow Knight, who happened to be Em's old jits buddy from grade 9! small world~ :D The week ended off with us just bumming around the house... Good way to unwind... just wish there ws MORE time...

Memory~
If I say it often enough, if I write it out often enough, maybe, just maybe I will remember.
Just thinking about how I can't even remember the name of the cosmetic or skin care product I use. I mean I look at it every day when I wake up and before I go to bed. But I can't remember the brand if my life depended on it. How bad is my memory? I say things I don't remember saying. I do things I don't remember doing. AHH~ Very frustrated...
Repetition does not help T^T

Happi Birthday my love! :D
:D So for the past 3 weeks I've gathered bits and pieces for this day :D Everythings almost done... just waiting to see him tonight so that it can all begin XD soooo nervous~~
~~~~~
Updated on the next day!~
When Em got home, I made him pick my dress for the evening :D we then proceed to play a guessing game of where his birthday present is hiding... I had previously given him two bottles of my fave cologne (which he thought was the only gift he was getting this year...) Man... I didn't know he was so bad at guessing :P he got the first 2 guesses wrong.... thankfully he got the last one right! :D He liked his two new shirts, and ended up wearing one of them this evening. We arrived on time at Atmosfera for a romantic 'souper aux deux' :D
Sry for the dim pic! N95 not so good at taking pics in the dark! plus, I didn't want to use flash and bother the other customers there... Our waitress (which I didn't get the name of) was excellent! short of staffs for the night she was the bartender, waitress and hostess... Loved it there~
Bday boi~ 2 hungry 2 smile
We got a drink each, the Grasshopper and the Chocolate Monkey :D & for appetizer we got the Antipasto Misto... I think thats how you spell it... anyways... it was delicious! I loved the calamari and the seafood on it... its a huge portion but it was gone before I can take a few more snaps~
As for the entree we had the Mixed Grilled Feast for two, featuring lamb, striploin and spicy italian sausage (which was tooo spicy for me) It was cooked to perfection! Medium we ordered, and medium we got! :D
We had desserts at Sweet Avenue, the place where we first meet up after 4 years of silence... They changed the menu on us T^T I found it hard to navigate cuz the order form was in chinese, and neither of us can read it~ haha... but it was alright... the waitress helped us :D
After dessert we went home and eM opened up the rest of his presents. He loved it.
~The End~
**Oh no wait... I also gave him his birthday beats! haha...
1st Halloween Weekend w. Em!
Setting: Work
Mood: :D happi
Thought: I'm so glad I got an extra hour of sleep :D
~~~~~
:D it's already Halloween before I knew it~ We spent the morning running errands/paying bills, but we finally got around to trying the sausages we eyed last weekend at Dixie Outlet! Em tried the mild Polish and I had the honey garlic. Loved it. The flavor was actually different... Although Em said that his wasn't spicy enough... Of course... he put so much stuff on his i'm not sure if he can taste the sausage at all... hehe... When we were eating the sausages there were a lot of zombies walking around... I thought I was in the middle of a film or sth... but no... it was Zombie Madness and people donated money to get their faces painted... a lot of them were dancing to Thriller whenever it was playing... very interesting experience. I want to try it out next year, and I will be dressed for the occasion :D

Sunday we finally tried the new Cora near eMs. We shared a western Crepomelette and cheese + ham panini, plus some toast and lots of fruits... Lots of vitamin C's today :D
I finally took a picture of when we go 'walk' the dogs... honestly it feels more like 'walk the humans' Jobi and Guru pull sooo much... but by the end of the walk they were more relaxed.... As eM and I leave to go to Costco, Jobi kept whinning and stuck her head out of the fence... she wanted to walk some more! it looked soo silly... thought I'd share it on my blog... (note: she managed to get her head out)
BIG wanton for lunch... 4 of them is TOO much plus the noodle. I guess i can't really eat that much...
We spent the afternoon suit shopping for Em at Moore's, it was an interesting experience, I've never spent so much time in a store that doesn't have things for girls... :D It was fun, he ended up getting two nice suits with shirts and ties and... cufflinks! :D (I didn't know my man was SOO handsome in a suit ;) haha... he's just tooo cute...)
